Wanshou Mountain Kunming Lake Stone Monument

Erected in the sixteenth year of Qianlong (1751), it is carved from a whole boulder, with a height of 9.8 meters, magnificent shape, well-proportioned proportions, and exquisite carvings. The front of the stele is engraved with the six characters of Qianlong's imperial book "Wanshou Mountain Kunming Lake", and the back is engraved with the full text of the imperial "Wanshou Mountain Kunming Lake Record", which records the purpose and process of expanding Kunming Lake that year.
