Jingming Building of the Summer Palace

It was built during the Qianlong period. The shape of the building is taken from the "Lotus Pavilion Cool Map" painted by Zhao Mengfu in the Yuan Dynasty, and the name of the building comes from the sentence "spring and scenery, the waves are not startled" in Fan Zhongyan's "Yueyang Tower Record". It was burned down by the British and French forces in 1860. It was rebuilt in 1992.
